The Field Operations Bureau is under the direction of DCI Assistant Director Charis Paulson. Charis was appointed to this position on October 1, 2010. Charis has been a member of the Division of Criminal Investigation since 1994 and has held Special Agent positions in both the Gaming Bureau and Major Crime Unit. Prior to being appointed to Assistant Director of the Field Operations Bureau, she was the Assistant Director in charge of the Gaming Bureau, a position she held since November 2007. |
Charis is a 1990 graduate of Buena Vista University with a degree in Business Administration and a 1992 graduate of Drake University where she received her Master's degree in Business Administration. Charis is also a graduate of Northwestern University's School of Police Staff and Command and Drake University's Certified Public Manager Program.
