The DCI Laboratory does not test for drugs in blood samples. Refer to Private Laboratories Testing for more information.

Drug analysis samples can be in the gray stoppered tubes used for alcohol analysis, and/or bottles, containers, or equivalent.

From your submitted urine sample(s), the toxicology section will perform testing to determine the following:

  1. Screening for the presence of drugs. If a positive screen is obtained, then further testing will be done to identify and confirm the specific drug(s) present.

The following would be helpful to us in analyzing your case:

  1. It is important for us to know drugs of interest in your case.
  2. We need to have the charges being applied or pending to a case. (OWI, possession, child endangerment, fatality, sexual assault, etc.)

Pre-Log Codes of Analysis:

Urine Alcohol & Drug Screen TX-UA, TX-UD
Urine Drug Screen Only TX-UD
