The Support Operations Bureau of the DCI is a very diverse work group comprised of 57 employees who work in the Records and Identification Unit, Sex Offender Registry, Criminal History Dissemination Unit, AFIS (Automated Fingerprint Identification System) Unit, and Administrative staff who perform clerical, inventory, budgeting, purchasing, and logistical functions for the entire Division. The Support Operations Bureau provides administrative support to the DCI as well as collecting, maintaining, and providing information vital to law enforcement agencies and the general public. |
