Drug Endangered Children

Iowa's drug problem is not only effecting our communities, law enforcement and the abuser, it has affected a silent group, children. Iowa has a program to address this problem, it is called the Drug Endangered Children Program or DEC for short. Please visit the Iowa DEC site and see what can be done to help these innocent victims.

The Division of Narcotics Enforcement is very active in this program. All of agents are trained to take steps to remove any child in a home that has drugs or is manufacturing drugs.

This program is a great success and is continuing to improve.
