Current Rulemaking Activity
The Department's Administrative Rules Docket is the formal
legal presentation of the status of rulemaking actions by the
Department of Public Safety. It's format is not friendly to
all potential users, in that it is primarily designed to meet
legal requirements. This page supplements the docket with information
regarding recent and upcoming rulemaking activities of the
Department in a format which may be more useful to some of
those interested in or affected by the Department's rules.
The information presented below is divided between recent
and upcoming activities. Anyone with questions regarding this
material or wishing to comment or participate in any of the
upcoming activities may contact the Department via mail, phone
(515-281-5524) or electronic mail (admrule@dps.state.ia.us).
