All nominations for the Lifesaving Awards Program will be thoroughly investigated and a report issued by members of the Iowa Department of Public Safety as a representative of the Governor. Reports of investigations will be presented to a committee for evaluation. Invitations will be extended to those nominees chosen as award recipients to award ceremonies.
