I-80 CLOSURE UPDATE

Oxford, IOWA --- Three construction workers and the driver of a semi truck were injured after the semi collided with concrete barriers in a construction zone on I-80 about nine miles west of Coralville at the Oxford interchange. A cement truck, parked in the construction zone, was damaged in the incident. The incident occurred at approximately 11:35 a.m. Emergency crews responded and four individuals were transported to the hospital where their condition is unknown at this time.

Westbound traffic on I-80 will be disrupted for much of the afternoon. Traffic is being re-routed over the interchange.
