ONE INJURED IN DELAWARE
COUNTY SCHOOL BUS CRASH

Sand Springs, IOWA --- One person was taken to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics after a vehicle, crossed the center line and struck a school bus in Delaware County. According to the Iowa State Patrol, 30 year old Shawna Beitz of Hopkinton was traveling north on Highway 38 when she lost control of her vehicle and slid into the path of the school bus.

Both vehicles came to rest on the roadway. In addition to the driver, there were four children on the bus. The children were taken to the Anamosa Hospital as a precautionary measure. The bus driver was not hurt. The crash is still under investigation.
