AMBER ALERT CANCELLED
MISSING TEEN FOUND IN RED OAK

Essex, IOWA --- Betsy Luna, age 17, was found safe tonight at a residence in Red Oak. An AMBER Alert was issued at 7:50 p.m. after the teenager was reported missing earlier today from her home in Essex. The AMBER Alert was cancelled at 9:35 p.m.

The Essex Police Department was assisted in the investigation by the Iowa State Patrol, the Division of Criminal Investigation, and the State of Iowa Division of Intelligence and Fusion Center.
