DCI Investigating Officer Involved Shooting in Nevada

Nevada, IOWA --- Early this morning, Sunday, April 10, 2011, the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) was called to assist in conducting an investigation into an officer involved shooting in Nevada, Iowa.

At this time, the DCI can confirm one person is dead, as a result of the shooting.

The investigation is ongoing. A press release with additional details will be released within the next few hours.
