Investigative Results Regarding Shooting Incident in Sigourney, Iowa Released

Sigourney, IOWA --- The investigation into the shooting incident on Monday, April 4, 2011 in Sigourney, Iowa, that resulted in the death of Sgt. Eric Stein and Jeffrey Krier is complete.

The Iowa Department of Public Safety, Keokuk County Sheriff's Office, Iowa Attorney General's Office and the Keokuk County Attorney held a press conference in Sigourney, Iowa, earlier today to release investigative findings. To review those findings, please read the documents at the links below:

Additionally, at today's press conference the Iowa Attorney General's Office released findings on its investigation into whether the Iowa State Patrol Tactical Team's use of deadly force was justified in the April 4, 2011 incident in rural Sigourney, Iowa.
