First Shipment of Detectors Arrives; Fire Marshal, State Fire Service Begins Distribution to School Kids

Ankeny, IOWA --- The surveys are in and the state’s fire service is now armed with vital information that will help save the lives of Iowa’s school children.  Come find out just how many Iowa children are living without life-saving smoke detectors, and see the many pallets of detectors now ready for distribution and installation across the state.

WHAT:       State Fire Marshal and private partners announce “100 Years, 100%” Smoke Detector Survey results, and prepare detectors for distribution.
