|
Warren County, IOWA --- Law enforcement in central Iowa are requesting the assistance of Iowans in locating the owners of a home that was destroyed by fire late Saturday night. At approximately 11:35 PM on Saturday, July 30, 2011 the Warrant County Dispatch Center received a 911 call reporting a house fire at 2698 R63 in rural Warren County. The Northern Warren County Fire Department responded to the address and found the home fully engulfed in flames. The fire department then requested the assistance of the Warren County Sheriff’s Office and the State Fire Marshal. Once the fire was knocked down and upon further investigation, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office discovered the home owners could not be located. This prompted the Sheriff’s Office to request assistance from the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation on a missing persons report. During an examination of the fire scene, fire investigators found one person deceased in the home. An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow morning at the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Ankeny, Iowa. Investigators hope the autopsy will reveal the identity of the deceased. Law enforcement continues to search for the home owners, 72 year old Kaidena Lozelle Wood, and 79 year old James William Wood (responds to “Bill”). If you come into contact with either of these individuals, please call the Warren County Dispatch Center at 515-961-1122, or Iowa State Patrol Communications at 515-323-4360.
