Delaware County Officials Locate Missing Child, Grandmother

Delaware County , IOWA --- Authorities in Indiana have located Gregory Hansel and his grandmother, Nancy Sullivan near the town of Brownsburg.

The two were reported missing from Colesburg, Iowa after they failed to return home from a shopping trip on Saturday, October 15th.

 Both subjects are in good condition. Apparently their vehicle had a malfunction and they were unable to continue. The subjects are expected to return home tomorrow.

At this time it is unknown why Nancy Sullivan drove to Indiana with her grandson.

The incident remains under investigation.

The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by multiple agencies including the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation, Iowa State Patrol, Dubuque County Sheriff, and Dyersville Police Department.
