Fort Dodge, IOWA --- Today, 40 year old Susan Huss of Fort Dodge, Iowa was arrested and charged with Theft in the Second Degree, Fraudulent Practices, and Felonious Misconduct in Office. All three charges are Class D felonies.

The Fort Dodge Police Department requested assistance from the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) on January 24, 2011 after noticing several discrepancies within financial statements for the Webster County Law Enforcement Telecommunications Center.  Agents with the DCI and investigators with the State Auditor's Office reviewed numerous financial records and related Telecommunications Center documents. 

The criminal complaints state that between July 1, 2006 and January 28, 2011, Dispatch Supervisor Susan Huss did commit theft in utilizing Telecommunications Center debit cards for personal use, personally endorsing and depositing checks that were intended for the Center, and withholding cash from other Center deposits in order to deposit said cash into her personal banking account.
