Arrests Made in Nodaway Homicide

NODAWAY, Iowa -- On Friday June 26, 2015, Agents from the Iowa Department of Public Safety’s (DPS) Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) traveled to Hiawatha, Kansas, to interview witnesses and persons of interest in the Allen Pafford homicide investigation. 

Iowa DCI Agents, along with the assistance of the Kansas Bureau of Investigation and the Hiawatha Kansas Police Department, arrested Jon Rubendall, 41, and James Bost, 39, both currently residing in Hiawatha, Kansas, for the 1st degree murder of Allen Pafford.  A cash bond of $1,000,000.00 has been set for each defendant.

The investigation is on-going.
