PATROLMAN NORMAN DALE JUHL
Patrolman Juhl was shot Friday, October 14, 1949, while responding to a burglary in progress call at a local car dealership. He and the suspect exchanged shots upon his arrival and he was mortally wounded. Patrolman Juhl succumbed to his injuries on Saturday, October 22, 1949.
The suspect was convicted of second degree murder and sentenced to life in prison. Patrolman Juhl was 29 years old.
