Field Agent Albert Paul

Iowa Parole Board Field Agent Albert Paul and another Agent were returning a paroled fugitive from California back to Iowa along a New Mexico highway, west of Albuquerque, on February 5, 1938.

The vehicle Agent Paul was driving blew a tire causing a loss of control.   The vehicle left the roadway and rolled. Agent Paul was thrown from the vehicle and was pinned beneath, resulting in his death.

Agent Paul served as a law enforcement officer in the State of Iowa for five years.
