I am an American, a citizen of Iowa, and a member of the Iowa Department of Public Safety.

Article II

I will never lie, cheat, or steal.

Article III

I will obey all laws, and the policies of the Iowa Department of Public Safety.

Article IV

I will not tolerate dishonesty in others.

Article V

I will keep faith with my fellow officers.

Article VI

I will receive and obey all lawful orders issued by a superior officer.

Article VII

I will perform my duties to the best of my abilities.

Article VIII

I will maintain both physical and mental fitness.

Article IX

I will conduct my personal life within tolerance of my professional obligations.

Article X

INTEGRITY, PRIDE and PROFESSIONALISM, TEAMWORK, COMMITTMENT and SERVICE are the precepts of my conduct.
