Speaker Program

The Iowa Department of Public Safety, in a continuous effort to provide information and awareness to the public concerning the many divisions, duties and responsibilities of the department, offers a Speaker Program to interested organizations who would like to reserve a speaking engagement with a DPS officer.

The Speaker Program is available for civic, academic, non-profit, professional or military organizations within the state of Iowa. The presentation can be tailored to fit most situations and can accommodate small to large audiences. The goal of the program is to allow DPS officers to develop and build relationships within the community and share current and viable information concerning law enforcement in the state. This is an excellent opportunity to discover what a career in law enforcement is like from the professionals doing the job!
