The Fire Service Training Bureau, is proud to offer National Certification for the Iowa Fire Service through accreditation with the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) and the National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (ProBoard). This accreditation assures fire fighters that the testing is unbiased, current, and conforms to recognized national standards. Candidates seeking certification should obtain a copy of the Certification Procedures Guide for the specific level of certification. These certification procedure guides include information on prerequisites and requirements for certification, as well as information specifically designed to help candidates prepare for the certification process.
